B777 First Class Cabin

Air France

Air France's new First Class cabin cabin, made up of four ‘La Première’ suites—a concept that fundamentally reimagines premium air travel with separate dedicated spaces for seating and sleeping within a full-height private environment. The design provides Air France passengers with a full 75 centimetre wide bed complemented by a luxurious forward-facing seat. No compromises, no conversions—just pure comfort tailored to each moment of the flight.

The "Ribbon"—a sweeping architectural feature that visually unifies the space while integrating practical elements such as mood lighting and privacy controls. This signature element creates a cohesive environment that envelops passengers in luxury while solving multiple technical challenges.

The meticulously crafted forward-facing seat with clean, sophisticated lines. Adjacent to the seat, a generous cocktail table houses a foldable meal table and integrates wireless charging and a tablet dock. Perhaps the most revolutionary aspect of the design is the dedicated sleeping space. Measuring 75 centimetre wide by two meters in length, the bed incorporates a split mattress design that transforms from a day bed to a fully flat sleeping surface, allowing passengers to transition between positions without leaving the bed.

Thoughtful Integration

The design seamlessly incorporates technology through a custom-designed tablet interface that provides intuitive control over all suite functions. Strategic storage solutions include an aisle-accessible wardrobe, integrated drawer system for carry-on luggage, and easily accessible compartments for personal items.

Working closely with Air France's internal teams, the design solution addresses the evolving demands of premium air travel while maintaining operational efficiency in a four-abreast configuration. The result is a revolutionary First Class experience that establishes new benchmarks for comfort, privacy, and functionality.
