Search
Understanding the context of the future product enables us to generate viable ideas. We conduct in-depth research, support you in the decision-making process and engage with vendors and suppliers at an early stage. Consistent market overview through analysis and research as well as trend and innovation scouting provide in combination with the insights of passenger focus groups the base to set the benchmark criteria relevant for each project. The translation of a theoretical concept into a tangible product is a vital step when developing the big idea. Our Design Identity Story serves as a tool to ensure that the design reflects the brand's values, thereby enabling seamless integration of the final product into the company’s existing image.
Shape
Based on the Design Identity Story, we collaboratively develop a holistic design experience, underlining the product identity with a coherent color, trim, and finish concept. Considering insights from our Invention Lab, we incorporate fresh and innovative ideas directly into our process. Dedicated workshops as well as model building support not only the creation of a design concept but are also a strong tool to discuss and present the results when a design takes shape.
Solve
We work collaboratively with partners and clients in small, personal teams to ensure all objectives are met. Using advanced parametric 3D software, we bring concepts to life and refine them until they meet both your expectations and ours. We do this from a very early stage in the design process to not miss any inch of improvement we could bring to the passenger comfort. LOPA studies and seat volume analysis support a straightforward and efficient problem-solving path using 3D data that are verified in physical models using 3D printing and model making tools. We accompany the product to its final form and coordinate all project participants. Throughout, we continuously integrate design improvements and incorporate changes based on feedback from the product in service and the insights gained from the production process. This way we ensure that the best possible version is reached and the result is ready for series production.
Invention Lab: Discover Again and Again
In addition to client projects, we consistently engage in independent research at our Invention Lab, both internally and in collaboration with partners. Here, we ignite out-of-the-box ideas that inspire design proposals for new ways of traveling, improving comfort, and reflecting on environmental impacts. This includes conceptual cabin design and studies on passenger comfort, research and development initiatives, as well as light studies. These results – developed without constraints – are accessible to the project teams and can be integrated back into ongoing projects.
