26 high density seats in a herringbone layout are the showcase for the spaciousness of the A380 main deck. In collaboration with Recaro 8, seats are a functional display of comfort and atmosphere. As a showcase for Airbus’ biggest aircraft, Design Investment implemented pneumatic seat cushions, individual seat lighting and improved sleeping comfort with the “space armrest”. The result: A cabin that emphasizes the generous A380 cabin and a very high level of privacy when seated.
